[KS] questions about how korean arts were preserved during the Korean war

Hello everyone, Does anyone have a knowledge of how Korean arts which are currently displayed at the National Museum of Korea were preserved during the Korean war?
I am doing a research regarding preservation of Korean arts during the Korean war. But it's very difficult to find any reference.
 
Would appreciate if any one can help me out.
