[KS] SOAS Korean Studies publishing workshop next Monday

Dear All,

SOAS Centre of Korean Studies, in association with the Academy of Korean
Studies, will hold a workshop on Monday June 16 on the subject of
'Korean Studies Publishing in Europe'. The workshop will provide a forum
for academics and publishers to discuss the current status and future of
Korean Studies publishing in the region. All are welcome to attend this
event and no registration is necessary. Further details below:

SOAS-AKS workshop: Korean Studies Publishing in Europe
1-6pm, Monday June 16, Khalili Lecture Theatre, SOAS
Speakers include: Anders Karlsson (SOAS), Keith Howard (SOAS), Vladimir
Tikhonov (Oslo University), Charlotte Horlyck (SOAS), Albert Hofstadt
(Brill), Sajid Rizvi (Saffron Books), Paul Norbury (Global Oriental)

The workshop will be followed by a book launch at 6.30pm in the Khalili
Lecture Theatre foyer for 'Selected Writings of Han Yongun' (Global
Oriental, 2008). The book launch will include a talk by the translator
Prof. Tikhonov, a Korean dance performance and a wine reception. All are
welcome to attend.
