Dear Colleagues,

The May meeting of the Chousenshi Kenkyuukai will be held Saturday, May
16, at Senshu University. This month's speakers, who will present in
Japanese, are below.


Research Presentation:
Shima Mutsuhiko. "The Profile of Nobi Seen from Family Relations: Working
from the Taegu hojOk of the Late Seventeenth Century and the First Half of
the Eighteenth Century"

Book Review:
Pae YOngmi. "Chousen kindai no rekishi minzoku shi: KyOngbuk Sangju no
shokuminchi keiken," by Itagaki Ryuuta (Akashi Shoten, 2008).


The meeting will begin at 1:30 pm in Building 2, Room 206 at Senshu
University. Senshu University is located near Jinbochou, Kudanshita, and
