[KS] Professorship for Korean Studies, Hamburg University

Dear All:

Hamburg University (Germany) has a job opening 
for "Korean Studies Professorship," level W2, for 
Korean Language and Culture (no further area 
specification). W2 is roughly the same position 
as associate professor in the U.S. system. The 
position was only announced in German language. 
Allow me therefore to repeat the details here 
(with some explanations). I am sure that 
international scholars are welcome to apply.

Since 1970 Mr. Oh Myong-ho was a long time 
lecturer of Korean language at Hamburg 
University. And in 1992 Korean Studies was 
established as an academic field there when 
Professor Werner Sasse left Bochum University and 
became the chair of Korean Studies at Hamburg 
University.
