Dear Minetta:

Worldcat is just a start. Have you gone to the library and asked a reference librarian for help? They are there to help you and know more about this than I. You also must cut your search into various categories beyond reception and popular culture......film, tv, print/advertising, etc. etc. Look first for articles and materials on popular culture in Korea generally, then look within the materials to find more references. Just starting with a subject often leads nowhere. Get to the library.

Subject: [KS] Responses to Korean Popular Culture

Dear members,

I am writing an undergraduate anthropology thesis on popular culture in
Korea and am having difficulty finding literature -- or primary sources
in English -- on Korean responses to/receptions of media. Having
searched Worldcat, it appears that there are a handful of theses on
K-drama fan communities on the internet. What might be a productive
place to start looking?

Best wishes,

Minetta Rogers
