CALL FOR PAPERS
SPECIAL ISSUE OF THE Journal of Global Initiatives on KOREA
Deadline: May 1, 2010

The Journal of Global Initiatives calls for articles related to KSU’s Year of Korea Conference Theme, "Korea in Global Context," for its special issue dedicated to the study of Korea. Articles from all disciplines are welcome.

The Journal of Global Initiatives is pleased to announce a Call for Papers (CFP) for its special edition on Korea, scheduled to be published in 2010. The JGI is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal of international policy, pedagogy and perspectives, published twice-yearly by the Kennesaw State University Press (KSU Press) and the Institute for Global Initiatives (IGI). Perhaps because of its location between two powerful countries (Japan and China), Korea is often overlooked and poorly understood by Americans. Yet, there have been many significant points of contact and interaction between Korea and the United States. Papers are invited for this special edition of the JGI that address any aspect of Korean society and history, including its contemporary political, economic, and cultural life, and that increase understanding of the relations between Korea and its neighbors and between Korea and the United States.

The editorial style of the JGI is the APA Style. Please prepare your manuscripts in the APA Style. For further information on how to prepare and submit your articles, please see the JGI website at http://www.kennesaw.edu/globalinstitute/jounalofglobalinitiatives.html

To be considered for the Special Edition on Korea, all articles must be submitted electronically as an attachment in Word or RTF, and must reach the Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Akanmu G. Adebayo, on or before Monday, May 3, 2010.
Dr. Adebayo’s email address is aadebayo at kennesaw.edu
