The study is the outcome of a joint research project by KINU and Hanns-Seidel-Foundation Korea on a comparative view on the peaceful development of the border area in Germany and Korea. Hanns-Seidel-Foundation carries out projects on sustainable development in the border area, in particular with its partner province, Gangwon province.
