This is a reminder that Strategic Initiative for Korean Studies (SIKS)  will
have an information session during AAS to explain about its new grant, Lab
for the Globalization of Korean Studies. We, SIKS, sincerely want to listen
to you duirng the information session.
 Director Do Hyun  Han and Dr Won-Young Chung(Head of Research Planning)
will be there to meet you.

Information session at AAS, Philadelphia
2010 Grant for Intensive Long term research

The Strategic Initiative for Korean Studies (SIKS) is pleased to launch a
new grant program, the Lab for the Globalization of Korean Studies. The
support program aims to increase the global standing of Korean Studies
through comparative studies with Chinese Studies, Japanese Studies, and
other disciplinary studies as well as joint research projects.

The Strategic Initiative for Korean Studies (SIKS) will host an information
session at the 2010 Annual Meeting of the Association for Asian Studies (in
Philadelphia, U.S.A) regarding program application and other matters. We
would like to invite everyone to participate in the information session.  In
addition, at this session, you may give SIKS your suggestions.
