Please see below for a position announcement for a full-time lecturer  
position in Korean Language and Culture at the University of North  
Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill invites applications for  
a three-year renewable lecturer position in Korean language and  
culture beginning July 1, 2011. We are seeking a skilled language  
instructor with a commitment to a proficiency-based approach to  
language. Native or near-native fluency in Modern Korean and  
proficiency in English is required. College-level experience teaching  
Korean to non-native speakers is preferred. At least an MA is  
required in Korean language, linguistics, applied linguistics, second  
language pedagogy, foreign language teaching, or a related field.  
Responsibilities include teaching three courses per semester,  
including introductory and intermediate levels of Korean. Preference  
may be given to a candidate who can also teach higher levels. Other  
responsibilities may include developing teaching materials, enhancing  
curriculum, designing assessment tools, creating a dynamic learning  
environment, organizing programs for students, and participating  
actively in the department and campus community. Submit a letter

video of a 50-minute Korean language class, and have three original,
