[KS] Chousenshi Kenkyuukai conference Oct. 16-17

Dear Colleagues,

The Chousenshi Kenkyuukai will hold its annual conference this weekend
October 16-17, 2010, at Meisei University's Hino campus, in the Tokyo
area.

The theme of this year's conference is "'The Annexation of Korea',
Colonial Rule, and the Present."

On Saturday afternoon, from 1:30 pm the keynote speakers will be:

Sakayori Masashi, "The Study of Parhae History, and Korean History"
Cho KyOngdal, "The Logic of 'The Annexation of Korea' and Its Conclusions"

On Sunday morning from 10:00 am will be four presenters: Kang SOnggUn, Pak
ChunhyOng, Kim Puja, and Yoshizawa Fumitoshi. They will speak on issues
relating to annexation, colonial rule, and contemporary resonances.

The conference fee is 1,000 yen for students and 1,500 yen for others.
