Dear colleagues,

I took pictures during the funeral and march for Lee Han-yeol on July 9, 1987, a watershed event for democracy in South Korea, in which over one million people participated.  After many years, I finally put the pictures up on the web at

Please feel free to have a look---you might find yourself in one of the pictures!  Please feel free to forward to friends, students, etc.  If you have any comments, criticisms, or suggestions, I would appreciate them a lot (especially if you find errors, mistakes, or things that don't work on the site).  Right now the site is very light in terms of explanatory text, so I might add more captions, etc.  Any suggestions would be welcomed.  I was thinking about allowing people to make comments on each picture so I might try that.
