Douglas Messerli's Green Integer Press have just published a volume of poems by Ko Un entitled "Himalaya Poems" translated by myself and the poet's wife Lee Sang-Wha. In 1997, Ko Un went on a 6-week treck across Tibet, which nearly cost him his life. 3 years later he composed a volume of poems about Tibet inspired by that journey. This volume contains almost all the poems from that collection, which is unusual for Ko Un in being entirely devoted to a single topic. In addtion to the print version, Green Integer are also offering a (much cheaper) digital version for download. See:

At the same time Green Integer have made available a digital version of Ko Un's "Songs for Tomorrow: Poems1960-2002" which is now out of print. The printed volume of "Ten Thousand Lives" (from Maninbo vols 1-10) is so far indicated as being available but I believe that it too is about to go out of print.

A bilingual volume of poems Ko Un wrote for his daughter ChaRyong when she was a child has just been published in Korea, with a full set of English version by myself and Lee Sang-Wha,
