[KS] Vancouver ISKS conference--deadline approaching

I have created a website with some more information about the conference this August 24-25 organized by the International Society for Korean Studies, based in Osaka, and the Department of Asian Studies at UBC. There are less than two weeks before our proposal deadline of February 28, so, if you are thinking about coming to Vancouver, I encourage you to send us your proposal soon. 
We will provide meals for you while you are at this conference. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide free accommodations or airfare for the participants. (There will probably be 85 or so of you---it would be prohibitively expensive for us to pay all the expenses of all 85). However, we have arranged for some comfortable and reasonably-priced accommodations on the UBC conference.
