[KS] Crisis of Cia-Cia Han'gul education

Dear all,

I think this topic was fairly well discussed before on the list but I
thought people might be interested in the recent article in Hangyoreh21 on
the fate of Han'gul among the Cia-Cia people of Indonesia. I'm sure the
killjoys among us will be happy to hear that the project has not been a
great success. You can't help coming away with the impression that this
downtrodden group of people have had their hopes (of jobs with Korean
companies and new respect for their culture and history) raised in a
rather cynical way in order to pursue a particular PR agenda.

Best wishes,
Owen
