Harvard-Yenching Library is pleased to announce a new publication, Sukch’ŏn chea to 宿踐諸衙圖, edited by Professor Sun Joo Kim of  Harvard University, as Harvard-Yenching Library Studies Series no. 11:

Sukch’ŏn chea to 宿踐諸衙圖 is one of the Korean rare book collection at the Harvard-Yenching Library.  The original is a book of hand-drawn maps, ca. 1880, published by Han P’il-gyo (韓弼敎 (b.1807).



Professor Kim’s book includes annotated English translation of the original text along with the photoprint edition and three research papers on Sukch’ŏn chea to  in different aspects by Professors Hur Kyoung Jin, Park Jeong-hye, and Song Inho.
