Call for Papers
The Journal of Asian Politics and History is pleased to announce its Spring issue in April 2013.
Submissions are welcome from any Asia-related discipline in the form of original papers,
research notes, survey articles, and book reviews in the fields of international relations,
comparative politics, political development, regional integration, political thought, political
history, and history of political thought. While contributions are welcome from all scholars,
JAPH especially encourages scholars in their first academic positions to submit articles.
Article and book reviews will undergo a blind peer-review process before publication. Articles
may not have been submitted elsewhere and may not have been published in a substantially
similar form in English. If the article has been published elsewhere in another language, or is
a substantially (>30%) revised version of an earlier publication, this fact must be
communicated to the editors upon submission.
Manuscripts not to exceed 15,000 words, including all notes and bibliography, should be
submitted in MS Word or .RTF format no later than November 30, 2012, for consideration for
the Volume 1, Number 2, to the editing office at JAPH at clarewood.org and
paul.talcott at googlemail.com.
