Dear Suzy,

I am sorry I can't be of any help. But I do have a very interesting picture
for you.

On August 13th, the (North) Korean Central News Agency(KCNA) ran a series
of photos under the caption, " Kim Il Sung, Liberator of Korea", one of
which I attached for you (1st photo).

Notice how they borrowed scenes of crowds and banners (in the 2nd and 3rd
pictures) at the Seoul Railroad Station and used them as their own. Of
course Kim Il Sung wasn't the "Liberator of Korea" either

By the way, the note for the second photo says the the crowd had
gathered to welcome the Liberation Army. The City of Seoul, who
posted the picture, made a mistake. If by the Liberation Army they meant
the the U.S. Occupation Forces, they were slow in coming. They were still
in Okinawa at the time, finally arriving in Inchoen on September 9, 1945.
