[KS] Invitation to conference at CEU - Whither the Two Koreas? Continuity and Change on the Korean Peninsula’

Dear List Members,
 
On 6-8 September 2012 Central European University’s Department of
International Relations and European Studies (IRES) will host a Korean
Studies Conference entitled ‘Whither the Two Koreas? Continuity and
Change on the Korean Peninsula’. The event is organised with the support
of the Korea Foundation and is part of the Global E-School in Eurasia
Project, launched at CEU in 2012. 
In 2012 CEU launched the Global E-School in Eurasia Project, a
multi-year effort to promote Korean Studies in Hungary, Central Europe ,
and beyond. The project aims at developing online and distance learning
and an integrated curriculum in Korean Studies connecting the project’s
partner institutions. The consortium's member universities include,
apart from CEU, ELTE (Budapest, Hungary), the University of Vienna
(Austria), Paris-Diderot  and the University of La Rochelle (France),
Turku University (Finland), the University of Bologna (Italy), the
Middle East Technical University (Ankara, Turkey), the American
University of Central Asia (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan), and the Tajik State
University of Commerce (Dushanbe, Tajikistan).
