As Ed Baker just alarmed me in a private mail (thanks!)--and I am not
quite sure how I got there--I wrote Sŏng 성 instead of Son for 孫.
孫 is of course 손: Son Kyun-su (and not Sŏng Kyun-su). Anything else I
said stands. 孫 is a pretty popular name in China, e.g. Sun Tzu or Sun
Yat-sen (in China better known as Sun Zhongshan 孫中山).
