[KS] Question regarding student activism before the occupation of Japan

Well, Kim Gu was born in 1876, he was only 17 when he became a local leader of the Donghak, he cannot have been the only very young leader, and there is also the New People's Association (Sinmin-hoi) founded in 1906 which seems mostly to have been led by younger folk. Syngman Rhee was only 21 when he joined the Independence Club in 1896 and not much older when he was arrested in 1899 and given a life sentence . . . was he the only student involved? The protests against the protectorate and the abolition of the army in 1907 might also be of interest
