===================================================
A technical note for Hotmail KS List subscribers:
===================================================

Because of an unrelated project I noticed that Hotmail email accounts
are starting to develop problems with email lists like this one--and
*various* other problems, all this just since two three days. These
could be temporal or permanent problems, hard to know yet. This is all
completely unconfirmed, I just happen to see "something" is happening.
Seems that Hotmail is now physically and virtually moving all its
"Hotmail.com" accounts to the new "Outlook.com" (and maybe different
data centers, or at least shifting them around within data centers).
See the NOTE at their home page: http://hotmail.com
  "Your Hotmail has moved to Outlook.com"

So … *if* you stop getting mails from the Korean Studies List, please
read on here.

You *may* have to resubscribe to the KS List after the change is
done--I am by no means sure--depends on many details of how exactly
Microsoft handles the alias setup, and how that works with the List
setup. That is complicated and cannot be predicted so easily. In
addition, Mailman list software also has some special rules in place
how to handle mail that is different from a
regular email account setups.

This mail was just to let you know that you *may* have to act on such
changes with the KS List subscription, and that mails to Hotmail
accounts *may* stop. In case you stop getting mails from the list,
please consider updating your mail account or re-subscribe with your
Outlook.com account.

Best wishes,
Frank
