[KS] New book by California Press

There is are so many books these days.
It would be MUCH appreciated if anyone announcing a new publication 
could add two three sentences to tell everyone else *why* he/she thinks 
this is good/important/terrible/useful/strange/whatever. Otherwise I 
just tell my computer to do the KS List reading for me and watch TV.
