[KS] Part-Time English Editor Needed for the Korea Journal

The *Korea Journal*, quarterly Korean Studies journal with a half century
of history, has an immediate need for a copy editor in its Seoul office.



* Job Description:

- Editing and revising articles for the journal

- Assisting Editor-in-Chief concerning correspondances in English



* Qualifications:

- Must be able to read, write, and speak English at the level of a native
speaker.

- Advanced Korean proficiency is required.

- Must possess a bachelor's degree or higher.

- Academic editing experience and basic understanding in Korean Studies are
highly preferred.

- Must hold a working or student visa for Korea.



* Working conditions:

- Location: Korean National Commission for UNESCO in Myeongdong, Seoul.

- Salary: Between 1,200,000 won to 1,350,000 won per month (The payment
will be adjusted according to the number of working days)

- Work hours: 10:00 am to 6.00 pm, 2 days a week.



*Application deadline: February 11, 2013 (Korean local time)



Please note: Selected applicants will be required to demonstrate their
editing skills on an editing test and successfully pass an interview in
order to qualify for the position.
