[KS] Greek and Latin studies in Korea

The following refer to the use of Latin In Dallet. They indicate that although Latin was in use in  Korea among the French Missionaries and that learning Latin was part of the  preparation for becoming a priest, leaning Latin in Korea probably did not happen before 1855 when they set up a seminary in Baeron. Interestingly, two priests who arrived in 1856 and worked there wrote Latin dictionaries,  Fr Pourthie a Korea-Chinese-Latin Dictionary, Fr Petitnicolas a Latin-Korean, neither of which seem to have survived.. There are at least two existing Latin -Korean dictionaries. Parvum vocabularium Latino-Coreanum : ad usum studiosæ juventutis Coreanæ. Hongkong : Typis Societatis Missionum ad Exteros, 1891.; Yun, Ŭl-su Dictionarium Latino-Coreanum / P. Laurentio Youn Kyŏngsŏng : Sŏng-Nik'ollao Sinhakkyo, 1936
