[KS] Recommendations for English-language materials on Korean comics

The most complete overview I know of is MANHWA, ANOTHER DISCOVERY IN ASIAN COMICS, published by KOCCA (Korea Culture and Contents Agency) in 2007.

Like most Korean government propaganda, it is a bit of a slog at times. But a few of the history chapters could be good for a bulk pack or the like. The chapter on Korea's online comics is particularly useful.

It doesn't seem to be in print at Amazon or the usual outlets, but this website claims to be able to order it: http://www.hanbooks.com/maandiinasco.html
