[KS] The Passing of Prof. Daniel Bouchez

Dear List members,

Korean Studies in France regretfully announce the passing of Professor
Daniel Bouchez, at the age of 85, on Thursday, April 17th, 2014.

A specialist of Kim Manjung and highly respected scholar of pre-modern
Korean literature, Prof. Bouchez spent the main part of his academic
career at CNRS and Paris-Diderot University.

His wife Min Yong Ui Dorothée and son Théodore beg us to inform the
community of Korean Studies about his funeral service due on Thursday,
April 24th, 2014 in Arpajon and Saint-Michel-sur-Orge, France.
