Transactions 
Korea Branch, Royal Asiatic Society

The RAS in Korea has been publishing its annual journal Transactions since 1900. Because publication has at times been interrupted by war, the RAS is now preparing to publish Volume 88, which will carry the date 2013. Submissions must be received by April 15, 2014, for inclusion in this year’s issue. Submissions may be sent in at any time for consideration for the following year’s volume.

The RAS invites the submission of papers of both scholarly and more general interest pertaining to Korea, past and present. Manuscripts should be in MS Word format and should be submitted in digital form. The style should conform to The Chicago Manual of Style (most recent edition). The covering letter should give full details of the author’s name, address and biography. Romanization of Korean words and names must follow either the McCune-Reischauer or the current Korean government system. Submissions will be reviewed by two readers specializing in the field. Manuscripts will not be returned and no correspondence will be entered into concerning rejections.
