Siena
College's Religious Studies Department is currently soliciting applications for
an opening in religious ethics, at the rank of Visiting Assistant
Professor.  It is a one-year contract,
with the possibility of renewal, beginning September 1, 2014.  We are especially interested in encouraging

Siena
College's Religious Studies Department invites scholars in religious ethics to
apply for a one-year appointment at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor,
with the possibility of renewal, to begin in September of 2014.  The successful applicant will have a Ph.D. in
religious ethics, be an experienced undergraduate teacher, and show promise as
a scholar.  The individual selected will
have a 4/4 teaching load that will include courses from among the department's
100 level courses as well as from among its offerings in ethics, including
Morals and Medicine.  Siena College's
catalogue of courses is available at http://www.siena.edu/catalog.  The Department is especially interested in
applicants whose teaching interests and pedagogy reflect Siena's commitment to
help create a world that delights in diversity and is more just, peaceable, and
humane.

 

Please
submit a letter of application, a current curriculum vitae, student
evaluations, a writing sample, and three confidential letters of
