Dear Colleague,

Thank you for the online illustration of Harn Museum's Korean collection. I
would like to point out that the landscape painting in the shape of fans
with Chinese inscription, 平沙落雁 (Settling Geese on Sandbank) is not
"Buddhist Mountain Landscape" as you described in the caption, but one of
the eight scenes of Xiao and Xiang, the famous painting topic since Song
dynasty. In fact, you find all eight scenes in your collection which would
have formed a screen.

For your information, the wood basin with grooves was used for washing rice.
