The RAS Cinema Club with the Seoul Film Society
Saturday 7th March, 2pm. Take Care of My Cat '고양이를 부탁해' (2001) Screening (English subtitles) and Interview led by Darcy Paquet with movie Director Jeong Jae-eun (with translation) 
These are free showings of great Korean movies, with an introduction and free-wheeling discussion after, every first Saturday afternoon of each month in Haechi Hall, Seoul Global Cultural Center on the 5th floor, Mplaza, Myeongdong, Seoul. Also: Saturday 14th March 3pm: Alfred Hitchock’s Oscar winning adaptation of English novelist Daphne du Maurier’s book "Rebecca.”

RAS Reading Club
Monday, March 2 at 7:00 p.m. We will be reading "Mountains, Streams, Plants, Trees" (산천초목) by Yi Hae-Jo (이해조).

This year we will just have 4 visits, quarterly, starting on the first Wednesday of April.

RAS Colloquium in Korean Studies
An informal gathering each month for the presentation and discussion of research by people engaged in Korean Studies at a serious level. Contact Brother Anthony (ansonjae at sogang.ac.kr) for more information. No meetings until March.

Bookstore
Our office also serves as a bookstore, with many rare and interesting titles about Korea available, with a discount for RAS members. Please phone before visiting, to be sure there will be someone there.
