Associate Dean (Quality and Innovation)

ANU plays a leading role in the provision of languages across the Australian tertiary sector, and has been ranked #1 in the country for Modern Languages in the QS rankings every year since 2010. Within the ANU, the College of Asia and the Pacific (CAP) leads intellectual engagement with the Asia-Pacific region through research, teaching and contributions to public debate, and seeks to set the international standard for scholarship concerning the region. 

CAP is seeking to appoint an Associate Dean (Quality and Innovation) (Level D or E, equivalent to Associate or Full Professor) to provide leadership in planning of language programs and pedagogy within the College. The Associate Dean will be responsible for developing new educational initiatives; planning and coordinating the use of digital and online technologies for teaching and learning with the College; and ensuring that the College continues to lead the University in provision of educational excellence at course and program level. The Associate Dean (Quality and Innovation) will work with other university and external partners to develop strategies designed to promote and sustain educational innovation for a College positioned as a world centre of excellence on the study of Asia and the Pacific.
