I would like to announce publication of Yoo Hyun Jae’s Korean translation
of Eugene Y. Park’s first monograph, *Between Dreams and Reality: The
Military Examination in Late Chos**ŏn Korea, 1600–1894 *(Cambridge, Mass.:
Harvard University Asia Center, 2007). The translation is entitled *Chos**ŏ**n
muin **ŭ**i y**ŏ**ksa, 1600**–**1894 ny**ŏ**n *[A history of Chosŏn
military men, 1600–1894], published by P’urŭn yŏksa (2018).
