[KS] 1930s Chinese/Manchukuo newspaper archive?

One person who might know is Peter O'Connor at Musashino University in
Japan - occonnor at musashino-u.ac.jp
He published much on the Western-language  newspapers of East Asia,
including several mammoth collections for Brill.
