Dear sir or madam,

The Center for International Affairs at the Academy of Korean Studies (한국학중앙연구원) would like to share videos of the 84th Societas Koreana Lecture Meeting which was held on September 25th at the Academy of Korean Studies. The Societas Koreana program is an internationally recognized lecture program led by experts in each field and the lecture covers a variety of topics from Korean art and culture to Korean history. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the lecture was delivered with no attendees.
During the lecture meeting, Dr. Mózes Csoma, the Ambassador of Hungary to the Republic of Korea and the DPRK presented the lecture of “Hungarian Archive Sources About the Relations Between North Korea and Hungary During the Korean War.” He introduced the history and the relationship between North Korea and Hungary during the Korean War based on Hungarian newspapers and diplomatic documents. The Ambassador Mózes Csoma holds a Ph.D. degree in International Politics from Zrinyi National Defense University in Budapest. He established the first Korean Studies Department at ELTE University in 2008 and served as the Dean of the Korean Studies Department from 2013 to 2017.
