We are pleased to announce the third session of the webinar series 2020-2021 of the ERC project team, "Aftermath of the East Asian War of 1592-1598". The session will be on18th November, at 4 PM (Barcelona time). Please note that daylight saving has finish in Barcelona and the time zone is now Central European Time (CET). “Ming Grand Strategy and the East Asian War”

  *   After the formal question and answer session has ended, at approximately 5:30 pm CET there will be an informal, open mic discussion time.
  *   The talk will be recorded, but not the question time.

This is the third session of the webinar series 2020-2021 of the ERC project team, "Aftermath of the East Asian War of 1592-1598" at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Professor Kenneth Swope will present on the topic of "Ming Grand Strategy during the Great East Asian War, 1592–1598." During the session, in place of slides Prof. Swope will use the attached outline of his recent book chapter, which appeared in East Asia in the World: Twelve Events That Shaped the Modern International Order, edited by David Kang & Steph Haggard (Cambridge University Press, 2020).
