14th Korean Literature Association Zoom Conference

Venue: The George Washington University

Date: November 19-20, 2021

Sponsors: Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures, The George
Washington University and GW Institute for Korean Studies



We invite individual paper submissions from those working in any discipline
or field (for example, queer studies, gender studies, history, literature,
sociology, Asian American studies, anthropology, communications,
performance studies, film/visual culture) who are incorporating Korean
literature into their work for the 14th annual Korean Literature
Association Zoom Conference to be held virtually on November 19-20, 2020 at
The George Washington University.



The KLA (http://korlit.org/wp/) seeks submissions by graduate students and
faculty at any stage of their careers who are interested in presenting
papers at the Conference. Those selected to present at the Conference will
submit a full-length paper in advance; presentations (15 minutes each) will
draw from the submitted paper. Individual presentations will be organized
into panels, each with an assigned discussant. Those interested scholars
should send a 300-word abstract and short CV to the email address below.



In order to comply with Covid-19 protocol, we kindly ask that the
participants understand and respect social distancing as KLA holds its
conference online. The deadline for submissions is June 15, 2021. Please
