*Announcement: *

Seeking applications! There are still two weeks left to submit an
application for The Korea Society's *Sherman Family Korea Emerging Scholar
Lecture Award*. The primary goal of the award is to encourage and
contribute to the advancement of thought leadership for a new generation of
Korea scholars and professionals. It is open to PhD students, junior
faculty in tenure or non-tenure track positions and new researchers. In
addition to a $2,500 honorarium, the awardee will present their lecture at
The Korea Society in New York and receive roundtrip airfare to NYC and two
nights  lodging and per diem.
