Invitational Message from SNU Asian Music Research Institute



Dear colleagues,



I am writing to you to share news of our upcoming second session in the
“Building Bridges : International Ethnomusicology Exchange Seminar Series.”
In line with the seminar series’ purpose of fostering exchange between
Korean and international scholars, this time Professor Lim Mi Sun, a
distinguished scholar in Korean musicology, will be presenting a lecture
titled: *“**Researching the Court Music of the Joseon Dynasty : Methods for
exploring symbology and cultural implications.**”*



This lecture will be held on Zoom in Korean, with English translation
provided in the chat function in Zoom. The presentation will also be
simultaneously livestreamed on YouTube, and the video will be available for
viewing after the event as well. This will be a great opportunity to
encounter scholarship which is usually not easily accessible outside of
Korea, so please share this widely with anyone who may be interested.
