the Institute of Korean Studies at Freie Universität Berlin is
currently offering the following *permanent *position:

Teaching Position (m/f/d), 50% part-time, permanent employment, pay-grade
13TV-L FU
Reference: LK 01-2023

*According to the job description German and English language skills are
not necessary.*

Area of Responsibilities:

   - Language Teaching (particularly North Korean language) (up to 8
   semester hours per week)
   - expertise in the field of North Korea
   - designing and conducting oral and written module examinations
   - advising and supervising students (BA and MA)
   - participation and administration, further development of the language
   activities of the Institute of Korean Studies

Requirements:

   - University degree (MA) in a field suitable for performing the above
   mentioned teaching duties
   - min. three-years of post-graduate professional experience (e.g.
   full-time employment, proof of educational competence)

Professional Experience:
teaching experience in Korean as foreign language (specifically in North
Korean language)

Desirable:

   - excellent knowledge of the Korean language and the subject North Korea
   - didactic skills and experience in teaching Korean at university-level
   - excellent MA-degree
   - experience in teaching advanced-level Korean language classes
   - willingness to contribute to the development of teaching material
   - ability to work in a team
