6 Year Postdoctoral Position in East Asian Studies with a Focus on North Korea at the University of Vienna
The Department of East Asian Studies, the Chair of East Asian Economy and Society (EcoS), and the European Centre for North Korean Studies (ECNK) are searching for a postdoctoral researcher. 
We are looking for a candidate with a Doctoral/PhD degree in the Social Sciences, a background in Political Science, and a research focus on North Korea. We require an excellent command of written and spoken English (C1 Level), which is our working language. Excellent command of Korean and a proven ability to conduct research in that language are expected as well. Command of German is an advantage, but not a must.
The position will be for a maximum of 6 years, starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will be expected to move to Vienna in Austria.
