the Institute of Korean Studies at Freie Universität Berlin is
currently offering the following *permanent* position:

Lehrkraft für besondere Aufgaben (m/w/d) mit 50%-Teilzeitbeschäftigung
unbefristet Entgeltgruppe 13 TV-L FU Kennung: LK 02-2023 (Lecturer für
special instructions, 50% part-time, permanent position, paygrade
13TV-L FU)

Responsibilities:

   - language training in Korean
   - designing and conducting oral and written module and partial
module examinations
   - advising and supervising students (also via e-learning platforms)
in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in Korean Studies
   - Participation in the administration
   - further development of the linguistic activities of the
Department of Korean Studies

 There is a teaching obligation of currently 8 courses per semester.

Employment requirements:

   - Completed academic degree
   - University degree (Master's degree) in a subject suitable for
teaching duties
   - at least three years of experience in foreign language education
after completing the university degree or a comparable position,
usually in a full-time employment relationship
   - proof of pedagogical aptitude.


Desirable:

   - First language Korean or comparable language skills;
   - excellent knowledge of German and Korean as evidenced by suitable
certificates;
   - very good knowledge of English;
   - didactic skills and experience in university Korean language education;
   - very good Master's degree;
   - experience in teaching Korean at beginner and advanced levels;
   - willingness to participate in the creation of teaching materials
and coordination tasks in the language teaching field;
   - ability to work in a team.
