| About the Talk
In an era where digital spaces are becoming vibrant platforms for culture and art, the rise of digital content in virtual worlds highlights the evolving role of artificial intelligence (AI) in cultural creation. This development raises an important question: Could AI become the future of culture and art? It's essential to remember that true culture and art flourish through creativity, not merely by consuming machine-generated outputs. As we navigate the AI era, we must reassess how we define creative cultural and artistic activities. The humanities, with their emphasis on insight, creativity, and empathy, play a crucial role in this context. They offer guidance to AI, fostering a more imaginative expression of the human spirit through collaboration with AI. This presentation will introduce "Digital Curation of Humanities Data" as a pivotal methodology for research and education in the humanities during the digital age, demonstrating how to seamlessly integrate AI with humanistic values in our cultural and artistic endeavors.
