Dear KS list members, apologies for the blatant self-promotion.
Monash University Korean Studies Research Hub is proud to announce the
publication of its latest book on Korean Studies entitled Korean
Conversation Gambits: Developing Spoken Language – A Resource Book for
Learners and Teachers. By Heekyung Ahn, Andrew David Jackson, Hyun Mi Kim,
Soyeon Kim, Eva Richards, Adam Zulawnik. The book provides specific
linguistic and communicative strategies that help Korean language learners
engage in daily conversations, discussions, and negotiations in work and
academic contexts. The book culminated seven years of work. It features
contributions from educators who have worked at Monash Korean Studies over
the past eight years and also includes artwork and designs by Monash Korean
Studies students Aria Villero and Jingyi Tan. Order a copy
