Dear colleagues,
I hope this email finds you well.
I am Jude Yang, the Librarian for Korean Studies at Yale University. As the Principal Investigator of this project, and on behalf of our team—Hyoungbae Lee (Princeton) and Jee-Young Park (Stanford)—I am delighted to share the exciting news that our Digital Humanities Project on Bibliography of Modern Korean Periodicals<http://www.projectbmkp.org/> <http://www.projectbmkp.org/> (BMKP; www.projectbmkp.org<http://www.projectbmkp.org/>) has now been published.
This initiative builds upon the Bibliography of East Asian Periodicals (Colonial Korea 1900–1945), completed in 2022, with the goal of creating a more integrated and dynamic bibliographic resource using digital visualization tools.
About the BMKP Project
The BMKP database compiles a comprehensive bibliography of over 900 periodical titles published in Korea between 1900 and 1948. Through dynamic visualizations, the platform explores intricate connections and reveals patterns that illuminate the historical, cultural, and social fabric of modern Korea.
