Dear colleagues,

Ruhr University Bochum announces a cfa for a fixed-term (3,5 years) 
position for a *doctoral student* wishing to write a dissertation on a 
topic in *Chosôn *history (including intellectual, literary, and art 
history, or the history of law) that is compatible with the general 
theme of pre-modern *constructions of truth claims* and who is willing 
to pursue this research in the context of a collaborative research 
group dealing with historical forms of truth production and truth 
enforcement, addressing strategies and practices, media and processes of 
‘making’ truth.  Employment (65% of a full researcher's salary) will 
start April 15, 2027.
