  Dear Scholar, Colleague,

We would like to introduce a new book from AKS Press that presents a general overview and current debates surrounding the discipline of Korean Studies.
this book seeks to address the fundamental question: "Why Korean Studies now?"
This is the inaugural publication of the 'Re-Born Korea' series, which carefully selects and re-examines prominent papers published in the journals of the Academy of Korean Studies.

In particular, this book is published simultaneously in English and Korean editions, allowing diverse scholars and readers, both domestically and internationally, to access it more conveniently.
We expect it to be utilized in various ways, including the comparative study of Korean Studies terminology.

  Sincerely,
  Wonki Kim
  AKS Press
