KLA BOOK PARTY

KLA invites you to its first book party to celebrate the recent publication of I Jonathan Kief’s (University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill) book, Triangle Republics: Cross-Border Literary Transits Between the Cold War Koreas and Japan (Columbia University Press, 2025). I Jonathan Kief will talk about his book in conversation with Susan Hwang(University of California, Santa Barbara). 

Unlike the conventional book talks where the authors give presentations which are followed by Q&A, our book parties intend to celebrate the completion of books by having casual conversations about yearslong process of research, writing, ruminations and more.
