It's good that you're trying to do this, I can't believe Madison still is
behind the curve.  However, you're wrong that no classes have ever been
offered.  I was a student at UW from '86 to '91, and in the '87-'88 academic
year a Dr. Wayne Patterson, a professor at St. Norbert's college in DePere,
WI, flew in twice a week to teach Korean history. He was a great teacher and
inspired me to get into Korean studies.  

Beyond Dr. Patterson, however, I'm not sure what's been done at UW, sounds
like not much.
