I'm surprised with that this issue is getting this much attention from
people. 
I don't have any academic knowledge about this matter, but...

Cat juice? -- yes, it is used for medicine in Korea, but you never know..
some people may eat cat-meat.

Adrenalin contradiction? -- it depends on people: likewise, some people
think "stickiness" is a good quality of rice, some don't.

Only Male stuff? -- I don't think so: I know a lot of female dog-meat
lovers

An additional remark: I'm a woman and dog-lover (I don't eat dogs)
                      however I'd like to say "meat is meat!"
