I agree with Kushibo.  While I enjoy reading and discussing matters dealing
with academic, scholarly content, I also enjoy exchanges regarding other
matters related to Korea.  To be honest, many academic, scholarly threads
are of no particular interest to me, so I press my delete key (as is my
right), while I find many (as Kushibo put it) 'mundane' topics very
enlightening (maybe you don't, so you are free to use your delete key, too).
I also find, in many cases, the opposite to be true.  In any case, I truly
hope that this list doesn't go so far up the Ivory Tower that it goes
'splat!' on its way down; I really enjoy this list and all the variety of
exchanges it has.
